Today, 1 in 2 young people aged 18–29 feel uncomfortable making or answering calls; turning one of the most human forms of communication into something to avoid. How can Nokia relaunch “Connecting People” and bring back the phone call?
We created a campaign that focuses on the one call almost everyone feels they should make more often — to their mom. By tapping into an emotional truth that it’s never the “right time” to call, the idea reframes phone calls as something intimate and definitely worth bringing back. In a world of texts and notifications, Nokia reminds us what it really means to connect.
